Geocache Description:

Gob-y-Deigan Halt
This halt was no more than a small shelter, used for picnic excursions from 1887 onwards. An alternative version has it that the shelter was a plate-layers' hut. Plate-layer was the old term for the men who worked on the railway track, the forerunners to rails and sleepers being sections of iron plates for trucks to run. Hence also "iron road" as used in America. Don't enter the old hut, it is rather derelict and sadly often used as a public toilet.
About the cache
The cache will be easy to find once you've walked to the area. If you need to park a car, you can just about pull in at 54°14.863'N, 4°38.387'W, but it's not really recommended.
