Geocache Description:

Sulby Bridge
The station had another substantial sandstone building, which still survives and is worth a look. It opened in 1879, and also boasted a passing loop and a goods siding.
About the cache
As the Lezayre-Ramsey cache had to be placed on the public trail before its northbound termination at Sulby Bridge, I was obliged to place it west of this cache even though those stations are to the east. Sorry if that's confusing!
This cache is very close to the old station, and is very much a roadside hide, so you can park very close to the locatio indicated by the coordinates. The cache is not more than 5 paces from the big metal gate barring access to the continuation of the trail, which is, sadly, not a public right of way. You might have to fight with the foliage to grab the box, but if this is your first cache of the series rest assured that it's probably the only one hidden like this!
