You are looking for a cammoed bison tube. Please bring your own pen or pencil. If your are participating in the 2009 Texas Challenge and do not wish to claim a smiley then just use the attached stamp to mark your Challenge card. There may be livestock roaming along Usener Road so drive with caution. Happy hunting!!
This is the first of nine caches in the Hwy. 290 Wine Trail Series. All but one of the caches are located just off of Hwy. 290 in the Fredericksburg area. Due to the fact that some of these caches are placed on private property (with the owner's permission of course) it is recommended that you search for them only during daylight hours. None of the caches requires you to enter any buildings or structures. None of the caches should be extremely difficult. We hope you enjoy your journey down the Hwy. 290 Wine Trail and appreciate the beauty of the Texas Hill country.
