The Lost Lagoon.
The Lost Lagoon is best approached from the B6480 which is the main Clapham to Bentham Road, you can park on the road side.
As a young boy I used to cycle from Ingleton with my fishing rod fastened to the cross bar of my bike to fish at the Lost Lagoon, setting off at 4am in the morning to start fishing for about 4.30am, Why so early I hear you ask? well its like this the Lost lagoon has a plentiful supply of Tench, Roach& Perch.
Tench like to get up early to feed so as a young boy you get up early to feed the Tench! Simple!.

Early morning visitors to the Lost Lagoon might see very tiny bubbles rising from the bottom, this could well be a tench routing in the silt for its breakfast.
PS. would love to know how many of you local cachers have been to the Lost Lagoon Before?.
Its a great place for a summer picnic....
