Geocache Description:

Small lock-n-lock, no need to move anything to find the cache. The "No Trespassing" sign is not for the trail to the cache! I've talked to the property owner and the sign is intended to keep hunters off the property and not to discourage geocachers.

This cache is placed on a Class VI road (unpaved, unmaintained) in Bedford near a place that matches the second word in the cache label. The "No Trespassing" signs are for hunters according to the property owner and not to discourage geocachers! We wanted to place a cache nearby given how often we're in the area. I let "son" of "Oreb and son" pick the location. The "road" is really more of a trail at this point. I'd suggest that you park at the Covenant Way end of the "road" and walk in that way. Someone put a "Keep Out" sign on a stick in the middle of the road at the other end (where the maintained portion of Country Road ends off of Wallace Road). Since the road is a town road I'm guessing whomever put up the sign is trying to keep four wheelers or ski-mobiles off the road/trail but there is no need to go in from that direction in any case.

This should be generally winter friendly unless we get 3-4 feet of snow.

There is no need to move anything to find the cache.

If you go in from the Covenant Way side you won't be passing any houses and night caching should be okay.

Congrats to ponil on the FTF!
