Geocache Description:

Congrats to Rebelex & Sam for the FTF on our first cache. Huge thanks to my good geofriend in EP for the mentoring. We couldn't have done it without you.

Zachary Park is located at the Northwest corner of Rockford Road and Zachary Lane in Plymouth. The park with something for everyone now has a multi-stage cache. All stages (more than two and less than five) are a short walk from one another with light terrain changes, though in the winter there can be slippery footing. If you find yourself wanting to climb trees or fences, by all means do so, but you don’t need to climb anything other than small hills and maybe a couple steps during this cache. Parking is plentiful during the cool months but can be challenging during the summer and the park at times is infested with muggles that tend to stay hidden during the 8-months of winter. At time of publication the final stage of the cache contains typical swag, a new TB, a couple young Geocoins and a small bag of strange goodies for the FTF. We’d have put more in but there wasn’t room. Of course the final stage of the cache also has a logbook and pencils. The early stages are not diminutive but technically qualify as micros and contain the next stage's coordinates. The final stage is a Dole fruit jar. It’s been washed but still retains the sweet smell of canned peaches. We opted for the fruit jar instead of the sardine can for this reason alone. The final stage no longer can be removed from its spot. For those with small hands, retrieve the log through the bottom opening. For those with long arms and big hands, the top opening is best. Please take care to replace all stages as you found them. Note: Whomever claims FTF, please email us and we’ll explain the contents.

Unfortunate addition to many of our cache pages as of 2018: PLEASE REPLACE THIS CACHE AS FOUND! Unless you find it obviously out of place and in danger of going missing, we hid the cache where it was intended. Replacing caches differently than they were intended changes the experience for other cachers. Worse yet, intentionally or unintentionally breaking caches destroys the experience for your fellow cachers and makes owning caches difficult. Our caches should never ever require you to use a hammer, screwdriver, pliers, or prybar. If a cache is frozen in place, GENTLY, find a way to extract. And to everyone else, thank you so much for finding our caches. Your enjoyment of our hides makes it all worth the while.
