The Devonport Leat runs from the Princetown area (West Dart, Cowsic and Blackbrook rivers) down to Burrator reservoir, although when it was built in the 1790's it ran all the way down to the Royal Naval Dockyards in Devonport. Several parking areas nearby, but can get a bit busy and there is quite a bit of logging work going on during the week. Popular area with families and walkers.
