This cache is located near the Robertson Community Rowing Center boat houses that are home to crew (rowing) teams at the scholastic, collegiate and masters levels. This is the home water of Norfolk Collegiate School, Maury High School, Granby High School, Old Dominion University and the Hampton Roads Rowing Club.
Be aware that this is a muggle-rich environment and that, when the weather is nice, there will be people working on boats as well as launching and recovering on the nearby dock. Occasionally, there are regatta's run from this location, the most popular of which is the Head of the Lafayette, a costume regatta held around Halloween each year.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Please respect those hours for safety reasons. After dark there may be thuggles milling about.
