We still love this wooded area even after the nightmares part of
the team suffered when placing the original cache
(
GC19VA9), so we braved the wildlife again and headed back in.
Due to the amount of wildlife signs last time we where here we
still recommend that dogs be on leash when hunting for this cache.
We would hate for them to become something's supper. This
will even be more of the case as the area surrounding these woods
become inhabited by more and more homes. As their habitat
will be becoming smaller and smaller.
This cache was placed for Edmonton’s winter third edition
of the successful CAR2006 event and first annual CARW2007. This
event involves hiding a cache during the time leading up to the
CARW-event, finding CARW-caches over the designated 24 hour period
(March 7-8, 2008) and then meeting up to swap CARW stories. These
CARW caches should not be sought out until 9:00am, Saturday March
7th. See GC1KF7Y.
