This site like many others in this county, used to be a "Garbage Dump". To look around you probably wouldn't know one existed here. Most of the garbage dumps were closed in the late sixties in favor of our current landfill. So if you're looking for real estate in the county, do a little homework first. Local residents may be your best resource. On the upside, most of the dumps weren't very big due to a small county population. Most of what was discarded in these dumps was burned and not a long term threat to the environment. People weren't quite as wasteful back then as you might think. Flashing flag pin for FTF.
