Geocache Description:

Located in the Town Forrest in White River Jct. Vermont on the W.B. Brown trail.

This is our second cache in this area. The town of White River has been marking and improving the trails in this area for a while now. What has developed is an extensive system of trails that will lead you on a pleasant hike in the Green Mountains. In the winter they are good for snowmobile, snowshoe, or xcountry skiing. If you drive to the end of Reservoir Rd. you'll find a bulletin board with trail information. This cache is located on the W. B. Brown Trail. For a shorter hike you can park near the radio tower on Reservoir Rd. and pick up the W.B. Brown Trail here. You can find the trail directly across from 301 Reservoir Rd. This is only a short drive from Quechee Gorge, where there are several more caches. We placed this in Feb. so it's snow friendly. The trail will take you over the top of Hurricane Hill if you use the r
Reservoir Rd. access. It was packed down by snowmobiles when we placed the cache. From here there are great views across the Connecticut River Valley into NH. Minor bushwhacking at the end.
