Located in Enchanted Rock Natural Area, the park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or 14 miles south of Llano. There is a $6 enterance fee per person unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass.
I discovered this spot while scouting out locations for the 2009 Texas Challenge. A breath-taking view from up here and there doesn't seem to be much foot traffic in this area either. From here you might be able to see your parked car.
Sit a spell and enjoy the solitude of the area.
A permit has been filed with the park manager.
