Located in Enchanted Rock Natural Area, the park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or 14 miles south of Llano. There is a $6 enterance fee per person unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass.
I discovered this location while scouting out locations for the 2009 Texas Challenge. A great view of the north face of Enchanted Rock in the Moss Lake Primitive Camping Area.
A permit has been filed with the park manager.
