Geocache Description:

Entrance to Camp Samac, can drive right up to it.

Robert Samuel McLaughlin was born on the 8th of September 1871, and passed away in 1972. In between those dates, Sam McLaughlin built an empire.

Not forgetting the children, Camp Samac came into being. Boy Scouts from all over, benefit from his gift of Camp Samac, complete with log cabins, totem poles and a man-made lake.

Should you venture down the road a little, you will see main plaques, and three totem poles dedicated to famous Scouts.
