This cache is located near the southern entry into Interlaken Park, and from the closest street requires you to go down 20 or so stairs and make a short jaunt down a muddy forest path. With mud. Tree cover is dense so your GPS may poop out, but the hide isn't intended to be too challenging. The park is totally unlit (read: pitch black) at night. Did I mention that it's muddy?
Interlaken Park - glimmering jewel of the fungus world! In this wonderful strip of urban wilderness you can find a bewildering array of mushrooms and other squishy fungi (smashrooms as we call them - corals, shelf-types, etc). Some are edible - others are definitely not so look it up before you wolf it down :-P
If you are not familiar with the park, this is a great starting point to explore the many connecting trails and paths. The cache is a garden-variety green ammo box, and the starter kit includes a lot of foreign coins and (relatively worthless) currency but we'll steadily repopulate it with shroom-centric goodies. You'll be close to a fork in the trail and somewhat visible, so be muggle-aware!
(BTW If your GPS has better accuracy than mine under the tree canopy, and you think my coords can be improved, please let me know and I will edit)
