Geocache Description:

For those of you have have already tackled Morse Creek Crossing, here is another opportunity to explore a different region of these woods.

This is part 2 of what will be my 3 part series in these woods. You WILL be crossing creeks for this cache. Wading boots will be required unless you enjoy having wet feet :)

Since we all know our GPS's are "crow-bound" Take Westerville Road, to Seville Road, to Greyfriers Lane.

If you have NOT done Morse Creek Crossing, I highly recommend to do this one too. It is a most unique area that it's placed in, and sure to give you a nice chuckle!!!

This is an ammo can hide. The only legal parking is at the listed trail head. Here is an opportunity to do this cache in conjunction with Morse Creek Crossing.
Cache D/T were determined by the cache system on here.

Rule #1 - Do not attempt if there is high/rushing water. If when you get out of your car at the end of Greyfriers and you hear rushing water, get back in the car and try another day. LOL!

Rule #2 - You WILL go through a creek, there is no way around it. There are lots of mossy rocks in the water, along with places with none. Use your best judgment and remember, mossy rocks sometimes = fall and go boom!

Rule #3 - While your Google Map will show a MUCH easier entrance to this cache, that entrance is on private property. Please refer back to Rule #2.

This cache site, is the remnants of a very old park. There are old moss'd over what appear to have been steps, and a place where a bridge used to be.
If you have done the Morse Crossing Cache already, the terrain on this one is much steeper, and the paths are not as clearly defined as the ones for MCC.

Once you go down the hill from the parking, go straight across the creek and climb over the log just to the left on the other side. From there, enjoy the hike, and enjoy the view from the cache.

Please remember that wading boots are the best for this (and Morse Creek Crossing), as your feet are going to get wet. Also, good solid shoes will be helpful as the placement of the cache is prone to having you slide down to the bottom of a hill if it's been raining or snowing into another creek.

Ammo can has been provided by shawn_woerlein from the raffle I won at the Dublin C&C. There is already tons of swag in there. Thanks much Shawn!!
