“Back in the Day” is a popular television show revisiting the golden years of a homegrown sport that's grown beyond any of us old-timers' wildest dreams. And things were "officially" better back in the day – particularly in the days of 1976. Solve the puzzle below, and your day might just be a bit better, too.
The cache is within 1.5 miles or so of the closest parking. There’s a very nice trail taking you most of the way, and a good trail from there to within a few hundred feet – but you’re on your own after that. An ammo box is what you seek, and you’ll be at 2000 feet elevation when you find it. Take the usual Southern caching precautions (watch for snakes, ticks, spiders, and assorted other wild life, poisonous plants, etc) and have a good time on your journey “Back in the Day”.
