Brilliant shades of scarlet
Color the evening sky
This is more than your average sunset
Almost like the sky is bleeding, from a broken heart
Crimson is the rose, given by my love

The first time he saw me, across a crowded room
My lips colored with crimson, like this lovely bloom
Vibrant rusty red the color of Ularu
Wonders of nature's beauty
Stun me through and through
Grasping at my heart, coloring it with pride
Only a primary color
But transformed into many hues
Red is not just red
Depending whose eyes you are looking through
Telling of a thousand emotions
Love, lust, anger and passion too
Red is the color of life precious blood
