This Restin' cache is part of a series that will take you to local cemeteries - places of historic importance and interest. We introduce you to these cemeteries as a way of exploring our local history, and the people who were early settlers here. While you are visiting, reflect on their lives, and contributions to the communities in which we live today. Please respect their resting place and ensure that extreme care is taken during your visit.
Soperton Cemetery is on land originally owned by the Howard Family. It was in use from 1803 to 1952. One of the most recent stones marks the resting place of my great-great grandparents.
