Medium sized Lock-n-Lock.
This cache is located in a less visited spot in Hewitt State Park.
It's between two swamps but you won't have to cross either if you
approach from the right direction. Following the ridge in a
straight line between
GC1MFPB and
GC1MFNN will keep you dry. For not having a trail, it's a
pretty pleasant walk too, along a ridge, mostly without overgrowth.
You can see the yellow trail from the ridge where the cache is, but
if you approach from the yellow trail, don't approach via a
straight line, you will not be happy. It is possible to reach the
ridge from the yellow trail, but you'll have to circumnavigate one
of the two swamps.
Cache area is very pretty. The views aren't as spectacular as
other areas of Hewitt, but the plantlife and terrain in this spot
is unique and quite beautiful.
