Another in the Fife Coastal path series between St Monans and Elie.
This cache, in common with "Highpoint" and "Minnie's Stac" is not accessible at high tide. It is not that difficult, despite the terrain rating! Any reasonably agile person will do it without any problem and wonder what the fuss is about. It does involve a scramble on a small sea stac, but to check just how hard it is, I tried it with my hands in my pockets and managed it up to the last step. At that point hands are required. That being said, if you are an adult and you have a child with you, they will run up and bring the cache down to you! Please do wear appropriate footwear, like trainers or walking boots and you will have absolutely no problem. If it is wet the rock is still quite "grippy" as long as you stay away from the green bits. It is difficult to give a clue that is meaningful without saying exactly where the cache is placed, but as a general hint, start on the Elie and seaward side and work your way towards St Monans.
The new cache container is a bit bigger than the old one, being about 95mm x 45mm. It is also a bit higher up than previously.
