When Dave started caching in December of 2004 .... little did he
know how addicted he would become to the great sport of geocaching.
He won't be stopped by a little rain, snow, rushing water or even a
very tall abandoned cell tower ... if there's a cache, he gets it
one way or another.
He has traveled near and far .... high and low and made numerous
friends in the geo-community along the way. To know Rey del Roble
is to love HIM and hate his devious hides ... really ... they are
just legendary in their crafty, wicked, right in front of you hidey
spots. So if you owe RDR a kick in the shins ... come join our
party and no one would blame you one bit if you did just that. We
may even start a line and do it right just so no one misses out on
paybacks!
This family-friendly event begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
April 4th at the Sedro Woolley Community Center at 703 Pacific
Street. A donation jar will be set out to offset the rental fees
... a donation would be appreciated but not required. It is a pot
luck and we have a wonderfully equipped kitchen at our disposal.
Please list what item you will be bringing for the pot luck so we
don't end up with a dozen 7 layer dips :) Yes, we have two cakes
coming-but please-no throwing cake at the King.
We will be have an AWESOME raffle with tons of prizes donated by
numerous people and companies. So please stop in and join in the
fun. This promises to be an event to be remembered. We will also
have games and special prizes for interesting accomplishments that
will be announced at the event.
If you have a personal coin you would like to donate to the
raffle please email me and we would love to add it to the
collection of great prizes.
There will be a donation jar to help pay for the hall.
