Another MICRO in the desert to bump up the numbers.
I was out riding in the desert today and what a beautiful day it was. Flowers blooming and green everywhere.
The road to the cache parallels the bombing range but no permits are required. The terrain rating is due to the soft sandy patches you might encounter on the trip out, so you be the judge of what your vehicle can do.
Bring your own writing instruments; tweezers would be helpful. Please replace as found.
Congrats to jimlinmon on their FTF.
Went out 3/19/09 and saw the ground crawling. There were more caterpillars than you could shake a stick at on the plants around the cache. Below is a picture of what we saw.
