This is a take only cache, there is no need to leave trade items. Any trade items left will be cleaned out of the cache on a regular basis. Travel bugs and trackables are welcome. It is filled with items such as keychains and magnets. There may be muggles on wheels in the area, so be on alert. Also be careful where you park.
This one has been replaced and moved again. There is no longer a lock on the box.
This cache is located at a stormwater detention basin owned by the City of Orem. Stormwater detention basins serve two purposes: 1) slow down stormwater flows so that downstream pipes don't have to be as larges; 2) naturally filter a portion the suspended sediments and hydrocarbons found in stormwater runoff.
One of our concerns is the quality of stormwater that is discharged into groundwater or Utah Lake. Over the years we have found evidence of people dumping used oil and taxidermy solutions, and washing out paint brushes and concrete mixers. We have even uncovered cross connections between sanitary sewer systems and our stormwater system. All these are considered illicit discharges. Please remember, if you wouldn't drink it, don't dump it.
