A short level walk along a snowmobile trail.
We have enjoyed winter caching so much in Vermont, NH, and Maine this year and after doing so many of Laughing Terry’s winter caches recently decided to extend the series of Homeworld caches with more winter-friendly caches. Using the same parking coordinates as Homeworld 2 or closer yet, you can park off the Fields Pond Rd or at the power station if they aren't working there, and then proceed down the snowmobile trail to this cache. The trails are open for snowshoeing, walking, x-country skiing, snowmobling, atving. The cache is located off the trail and may result in some deep snow so snowshoes will be helpful getting to them. Access to these caches in other seasons when the ice and snow have melted may provide a very different approach and different obstacles. This area is higher and dryer so will provide easier access than the Wiswell Rd. These caches aren’t particularly hard to find but just meant to get you out and enjoy every season. The cache container is an ammo can. You will have to bushwhack for this one, but much easier than HW5…and at the present time use snowshoes.
