Oleander is found all over the coast here in the panhandle of Florida and is a plant that can kill you. Never use the straight sticks of the plant to cook a hot dog. The sap, cooked in a dish, has been used more then once in history to do away with an enemy. In California they plant Oleander in the freeway center dividers because it's so strong it usually prevents cars from crossing into oncoming traffic.
