Geocache Description:

Artwork sign #4 isn sited near the White Gatehouse of West Lodge. The sign depicts the view from the other side of the A133 but the land at the actual site is private with no public access

With kind permission of Local artist Michael Goody allowing us to incorporate his inspirational Viewfinder Trail we have placed a series of caches nearby his works on the trail. Michael was my sculpture tutor during the planning and creation of the artwork. The trail is actually a 17.5m cycle route starting in GB's Oldest recorded town of Colchester, but each of the 10 caches can be found individually by other means of transport.
Michael was inspired by Lucien Passoro's landscape view across Hilly fields, also by the Colchester sky line fearuring The Town Hall & Jumbo Water tower. At each location Michael placed an artwork depicting the view, each piece giving the initial appearance of a road sign, but are in fact meticulously handmade paintings.
The Trail is an artwork in itself.

THANKS TO DAZZAK FOR NEW CO-ORDS..as follows

We have intentionally not made these hard to find, the cache trail has been a real pleasure to put together, it isn't intended for a race of the first and fastest but for the pleasure of lovely walks the enjoyment of the Artworks and of course the finding of the cache, In a couple of the finds the artwork and cache share the same co-ords.
We would like to thank Michael Goodey for allowing his inspiration to become ours.

Now you have found artwork #4 you can solve the clues to the cache co-ords
