Geocache Description:

Artwork sign #10 is at the entrance to Cymbeline Meadows where there is parking and picnic tables a lovely walk along the riverbank after finding the sign will take you to the cache.Watch out for Kingfishers & Yellow hammers on the way.

With kind permission of Local artist Michael Goody allowing us to incorporate his inspirational Viewfinder Trail we have placed a series of caches nearby his works on the trail. Michael was my sculpture tutor during the planning and creation of the artwork. The trail is actually a 17.5m cycle route starting in GB's Oldest recorded town of Colchester, but each of the 10 caches can be found individually by other means of transport. Michael was inspired by Lucien Passoro's landscape view across Hilly fields, also by the Colchester sky line fearuring The Town Hall & Jumbo Water tower. At each location Michael placed an artwork depicting the view, each piece giving the initial appearance of a road sign, but are in fact meticulously handmade paintings. The Trail is an artwork in itself. A map of the trail can be purchased from The Colchester Visitor Centre..1 Queen St..01206 282920.and a short video can be seen at..colchester2020.com/architecture.asp# (then click on winner of sense of space) We have intentionally not made these hard to find, the cache trail has been a real pleasure to put together, it isn't intended for a race of the first and fastest but for the pleasure of lovely walks the enjoyment of the Artworks and of course the finding of the cache, In a couple of the finds the artwork and cache share the same co-ords. We would like to thank Michael Goodey for allowing his inspiration to become ours. Well your'e almost finished (if you have done the trail in numerical order) and we hope you have had as much fun doing the trail as we did making it. This and #1 were our favourite spots but we think you will agree that Michaels inspirational trail has taken on a whole new form of enjoyment. So off you go on your way to the cache..which can be found on the 1.75m circular farm trail cache co-ords N51 53.76A E000 52.B05 Wheatsheafs divided by 16 =A How many letters in the name of the game =B
