We have all driven past a spot and said "I'd Love to hide a
cache there!" This is one of those spots. It is rural setting close
to several of the patients I travel to see. The cache itself is not
on private property but the pictured areas could possibly be,
although abandoned. When you arrive at the cache co-ordinates look
to the south and you will see what is pictured.
This is a winter perspective, but I am sure it is equally pretty
in other seasons.
This area looks like at one time it may have been a dam or lock
type structure in yesteryear. Maybe long time area residents could
provide me with some details.
As I stood quietly taking in the scenery on this very bright
late winter day, all I could hear was the extremely loud cracks and
bangs of the nearby ice adjusting or thawing as the sun had it's
way with it.
Once you have discovered the cache, take a few moments to
appreciate the beauty in the surrounding area and imagine what the
ruins here once could have looked like.
Happy Caching!
