Geocache Description:

Micro Cache located near the Potomac Council, BSA Service Center in Cresaptown, MD.

The Potomac Council, BSA is one of the smallest Boy Scout Councils remaining in the US. At the end of 2008 the Council served just over 1100 Scouts and 57 Scout units in six counties (Allegany and Garrett Counties, Maryland, and Mineral, Hampshire, Hardy, and Grant Counties, West Virginia). The Council Service Center was built in the late 1960s on land donated by the Celanese Corporation. It is open Monday through Friday 8AM to 4PM.

If you run into any Scouts or Scouters while looking for this cache, don't be shy. This cache was placed with the hope of interesting more people involved in Scouting to get involved in geocaching.
