Gettysburg Travel Bug Hotel was established in May of 2007.
It is a wonderful establishment, providing comfort, warmth and
protection for weary travelers. In fall of 2008, it closed
(actually, the PO wanted it moved).
So this is the same hotel, which had carefully been moved on an
18-wheeler down Route 30! (Well, not really, but it sounded good.
It was just moved in the back seat of our cachemobile.)
The Hotel is the same Ammo Container, which as been cleaned out
and refurbished. The guest register is the same, but it too, has
been cleaned out, and updated.
DO NOT ACCESS FROM ROUTE 30. There is plenty of parking beside
the cache. Use the natural cover to aid you in your stealthy-ness
(is that a word?) There may be some bushwacking involved, but there
is also a path if you can find it. During the wet seasons, wear
your mucklucks!!
There is a little "Goodie Bag" for the FTF, who will it be??
Just a few guidelines:
1. Since this is an entirely new location, if you found the
old Gettysburg Travel Bug Hotel, you may also claim this as a
find.
2. You can take as many TB's as you want, but please drop that
many off. They tend to get lonely! This helps others to enjoy this
one as well. Please try to leave at least two travelers in at all
times.
3. Please place it back the same way or BETTER when you're
finished. There is plenty of cover in the area. The bugs don't like
to be left exposed!
4. Please log your bugs in and out, in the log book and in your
"found" log. You can visit as often as you like, but can only claim
a "find" once.
THANKS for staying, remember, we'll leave the lights on fer
ya!

FTF!!!******
