I don't often place ammo boxes in the woods, but I had a box and was in the preserve today to service another cache so I thought why not.
The preserve is a beautiful forest and is recovering well from the tornado damage it suffered 10 years ago. There's a trail into the forest but I hiked cross country for the last 500 feet to place this cache, There's a small ravine you'll need to cross, and that should be no big deal unless it's been wet and rainy. Then it will be slick, so watch your footing.
I always enjoy tramping through the forest, and this place is great for that, There's no bushwacking through lots of honey suckle, just some fallen trees and branches to look out for.
Parking Lot is N39 15.590 W084 21.400. Access from I-71 is not possible.
Enjoy the hunt!
