Le Portage is the name given by locals to the section of Highway 134 between Grande-Digue and Cocagne. The likely historic significance is that it is a straightline overland route from Shediac River to Cocagne River.

This cache is located on the trails of the Beaver Cross Country ski club. You can access from the highway or you can ski the trails and locate this cache on the Rabbit Trail.
