Aldwark Road and Peasholme Green are surrounded by architecture from the Tudor period onwards. Within a short distance there is Peasholme House, Cuthbert Morrel House, Aldwark Manor and the medieval guildhall of St Anthony which houses the Quilt Museum and Gallery is home to The Quilters' Guild of the British Isles and its world-famous Heritage Quilt Collection.
