Geocache Description:

A stand alone cache in the York Micro Series

These Gardens contain a number of monuments in remembrance of those who lost their lives in various wars.


The central monument (pictured) remembers the People of the City of York 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.

This is a nice place to take a break and is accessible from Leeman Road and the River Ouse embankment.

The cache is a 35mm canister with magnet on the inside - please make sure it is attached securely when you replace it - thanks
