Geocache Description:

Multicache environmental tour of Escambia County

NOTE: The tour currently have four stops that have been muggled. We will be replacing these ASAP and will update this site once done. THE SECOND STOP (PIPES LANDING) IS CURRENTLY FLOODED AND INACCESSIBLE. PLEASE PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION AT THE FIRST STOP AND GET THE COORDINATES FOR THE THIRD STOP UNTIL THE PIPES REOPENS. This multicache is a 14 cache environmental tour of Escambia County brought to you by a partnership between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Escambia County and the City of Pensacola. The tour will take you all over Escambia County to a mixture of habitat restoration sites, unique environmental habitats and some very special cultural attractions. Each cache has a write-up regarding the environmental/cultural significance of the location as well as the location and coordinates of the next stop. For the FTF, there is a special treat in addition to the standard treat for finishing the tour. Please take this opportunity to learn more about the community in which you live or plan to visit.
