Geocache Description:

The above coordinates will put you in the middle of an intersection in downtown Spanish Springs. Do not stand at ground zero very long or you may get ran over by a golf cart.

To find the container for the cache you will have to take a walking tour of Spanish Springs. You should never have to venture more than 400 feet from the listed coordinates to find the needed information.

While strolling around Spanish Springs, you will see on several buildings, brass plaques explaining the history of the building and the surrounding area. Your task will be to locate those plaques and gather the needed information to answer the questions below. Once you have the needed information, it is an easy math problem to convert those numbers into the coordinates for the location of the container

Update 07/30/2014: Due to a change in the metal that held the container, I have placed a black nano on the guard rail about 12' from ground zero. This was easier than changing the whole puzzle.

AA = How many years was 'Silencio' quiet?

BB = How long of a jail term (months) did a widow get for "Performing a public service"?

CC = What year did Keller Sebald pass through Spanish Springs?

DD = What year did a decorative tower burn?

EE = What was the age of the gentleman that shot out a window?

FF = The year that the rumored love affair ended.

Now do the math to get the coordinates: N 28 56.(2017-(DD-BB-EE)) W 081 56.(4426-(FF+AA+CC))
