Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the outer perimeter trail that runs parallel to the highway. It's a bit of a hike, but you'll end up at a stream in a small clearing. Check the trail map here: https://www.penmetparks.org/parks/mccormick-forest-park You're aiming for the trail between U and W.

This cache is a large Lock-and-Lock. Fastest route from the main entrance: take a left at the information sign and trailhead F post (see image in gallery), follow the trails until you land on trail U. Once you're walking along the highway, you will reach a newly constructed bridge. (There are two along this part of the trail, this one is between trails U and W.) Just head on into the clearing, follow the stream, and you should see ground zero. (Requires hopping over some fallen trees and crossing over the stream.) It'll be a stump with water flowing through it (or at the water's edge, depending). Cache is nearby.

Please be careful in your search for the cache, try not to disturb the flow of the creek.
