Geocache Description:

Hier war die Donau Grenze.

Die Donau war seit jeher immer wieder eine Grenze. Zur Zeit der Römer war sie die Grenze zu den Germanen. Heute ist sie nur noch geologische Grenze zwischen Granithügelland und Alpenvorland der Kalkalpen. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg in der Besatzungszeit war die Donau Grenze zwischen russischer und amerikanischer Zone.

Eine Platz der von Frühjahr bis Herbst von Rad fahrenden Muggels bevölkert ist (Donauradwanderweg).

In former times the danube was border between Romans an Germanic. Today it´s only the geologic border between granite and lime rockszone. After the 2nd world war it was the border between russian and american zone.

At this place there are a lot of muggels, because of the bike route "Donauradweg" leading alonge.
