Could not let Harry be forgotten.
I have lived in this area for most of my life and I never new about this little grave site until about 5 yrs ago. It is the site of Harry Crooks. He was born March 25, 1896 and died March 26, 1896. This little grave is located in Lewis Run on Big Shanty RD. I was told that there may have been a railroad that ran by there and his parents may have been traveling through when he was born. It is almost in a back yard. I talked to the owner of the house and he said that the grave is located on National Forest Land and he had no problem with us putting the cache there.
There is parking across the road from the cache. Becareful of cars. You may want to walk up the road just a short ways to a 4 wheeler trail and walk in off of it. You will just go a couple of feet on the trail and then turn off. There are some down trees in the area, but otherwise it is a easy walk. The cache is a small black plastic container with a log and some small trade items. If anyone has any information on this little angle please email me.
