How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

March 14 is known as Pi Day. Pi being the mathematical constant of 3.14 to calculate the circumference of a circle.

This cache is part of an International PI Day event linking us together with other cachers around the World. When you find this cache it will contain a special CODE NUMBER that you must use to solve puzzle cache GC1NE39. The Puzzle cache will require you to contact other cachers around the world to obtain the special CODE NUMBER in their UNITED PI 2009 cache. The letter appendage makes each cache unique as this one is the letter O.

Additionally after you log your find on this cache other cachers from around the world may contact you to have you provide them the CODE NUMBER you got from this cache. It is proper for you to give it to them so they can solve the Puzzle cache in their area.

In this fashion you are part of a World-Wide cache hunt.
Enjoy and NO SPOILERS in your log please.

Congratulations to DotnFL on her first FTF!
