Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd of my Chevy "SS" series of caches, which I decided to place on my B-Day!

This cache has been placed in the wooded area of Pine Banks Park. I grew up very close to this area and there are some good, although short, mountain biking trails (including a small loop near the cache) and hiking trails throughout the park. I decided to place the cache in this location because there is a nice view of Boston nearby (waypoint included). Be aware that some bushwhacking is required to get to the cache especially during summer months.

Note: There seems to be trash scattered throughout the hiking trails and especially near this cache. I have been picking up what I can but remember to cashe in/trash out and help me get this park looking great again. Thanks to all who visit my caches. -"SS"

The container is a small clear plastic jar with a red screw on top. The initial items are: a red 2009 Chevy Camaro SS Matchbox car, 2 “AA” batteries, some silly putty, “snowman” playing cards, a red pencil sharpener and of course a red log book.

There are several places to park in the area. I have included a waypoint to the closest parking to the cache, which is inside Wyoming cemetery. I have also included a waypoint for the trailhead if you are parking in Pine Banks itself (which has lots of parking). There is a lot very close to the trailhead that usually has parking available, so long as there isn‘t a soccer game going when you get there.

In memory of V.P.D. ~ April 29th 2009
