Geocache Description:

Bring a camera (and a pen)! You are looking for a camo-film canister.

CONRAD SCHUCK'S WONDER HOUSE This unique residence was built in 1926 by Conrad Schuck, who was told by his doctor in Pittsburgh that he had only one year to live. Shuck moved to Florida, began work on the project, and - defying the doctor's prediction - continued to add to the house through the 1940s. It featured a natural air conditioning system which used rainwater; outdoor bathtubs on secluded porches; and a system of mirrors which allowed residents to see who was at the front door from any number of locations. It was the topic of a Ripley's "Believe It or Not" cartoon. Believe it - or not, Schuck's one year grim diagnosis turned to forty additional years, all of which he lived in the home. Maybe the cure was a combination of Florida sunshine and a project that was ever evolving? Please Note: The home is now a private residence. The cache is NOT located on the property - but, does provide a great view of this architectural gem. Please respect the residents and their home and view from a distance.

COGRATULATIONS HOAMDEZINAHS! FTF honors go to hoamdezinahs (especially fitting for their profession!) Maybe they'll get some ideas to take back home!
