Geocache Description:

A short hike for a good cacher,fairly level but a little rockey.

This cache is dedicated to my new friends in the Portland Oregon area who saved one of my first caches in the Portland area.The cache had about 102 finds and was placed back in Aug.2002.I closed the cache out and they volunteered to replace it for me while I was down in Palm Springs getting some sun and doing some caching in the area.It's people like this who keeps this great sport of geocaching going.We all wish them well and hope they will keep on caching. A good place to park is at the Welcome to Palm Springs Sign,there is also a cache here. ( GCHKVT )
