You are looking for a 35mm film canister. This is the first of the
Arran Clach of Cultures caches is hidden on a frog shaped
rock on the A481 which encircles the Isle of Arran. The pun is very
much intended, a Clach is a rock and each of these
caches celebrates a cultural clash on Arran and a rock
associated with a different animal.
Arran was removed from the Highlands and placed in the
Lowlands during local government reorganisation in 1975. The
result is that there are frequent missunderstandings between an
esentually urban local council and this remote rural community; for
instance the downgrading of this stretch of road to "C"
status.
