Geocache Description:

An ancient cemetery . Many headstones from the 1700's.

This was placed with a nod to Deakdevil and Chukhed for their RIP & Digging the grave series of caches. This old & hidden graveyard is a gem for cachers. You may pass it in a blink of an idea. However it is bigger than it looks. Given its location one can imagine that the noise from near by events would awaken the eternal sleepers. By the number of flags placed it seems there are quite a number of early american veterans here. Please walk carefully and respect. Several stones have been repaired over the years and there is evidence of recent damage from fallen limbs as a result of the big ice storm during December 2009. The storm caused 100% of Goshen to be without electricity and many residents lost power for that weekend. There is a chance for the FTF to win millions this Sat. night! Please replace as placed.
