Ein großer Teil der Halbinsel Mettnau ist Naturschutzgebiet. Es wurde bereits 1926 von der Stadt Radolfzell unter Schutz gestellt, aber erst 1984 auf seine heutige Größe von 140 Hektar erweitert.

Für alle die alt genug sind um sich an Bob Dylan und Jimi Hendrix zu errinnern. Dies ist mein erster Cache, darum ist es ein einfacher Tradi.
Parken kann man bei N47 43.768 E8 59.582 (kostenpflichtig im Sommer). Der ganze Weg hin und zurück liegt bei etwa 1,8 km.
Wer schwindelfrei ist kann am Ziel steigen um die herrliche Aussicht zu geniessen, notwendig ist es aber nicht um den Cache zu heben.
Es ist auch nicht notwendig, in den Büschen oder im Unterholz zu suchen.

For all those old enough to remember Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. This is my first cache and so is a simple Tradi.
Parking at N47 43.768 E8 59.582 (parking fee in summer). The total distance is approx. 1.8 km.
Those people free of vertigo can climb to enjoy the view, but it is not necessary in order to reach the cache.
It is also not necessary to search the bushes or undergrowth.
