This cache is placed along a Hampshire County Council footway which runs along the side of Great Covert Wood in Chandlers Ford.
Unfortunately, much of the wood itself is private land and developers have been trying to get permission to turn some of the wood into another housing estate. If successful, they'll call it Great Covert Park.
The path can be accessed from a number of different directions - from Castle Lane, various entries from Valley Park, and slightly further away from Flexford Road. I joined it at N50.58.735 W001.24.514.
This path can get muddy so boots are recommended. Your GPS is likely to be jumping all over the place! You are looking for a small lunchbox with room for swaps.
