This cache is part of my Alphabet Series. Usually there will be 4 or 5 caches in a given location. One cache is a Mystery cache and the others are traditional. One does the traditional caches first and gathers the information to find the Mystery cache. Each cache contains a number that should be recorded.
This cache is part of the third series of Alphabet Caches. These series contains four caches: J, K, L, and M. All four caches are in the same park. You should plan on hiking less than 2 miles to get all 4 caches. The suggested parking area for all 4 caches is N 39 08.789 by W 76 52.857 which is the parking lot in the park.
There are a maze of trails and animal trails running through the park. The trick is to minimize the bushwhacking. If done properly, one needs to bushwhack ~50ft to J, ~150ft to K, ~15ft to L, and ~5ft to M. (Since placing M, the vegetation along power line has grown considerably. Hence bushwack to M is longer)
This cache is the Mystery cache. You will need to find caches J, K, and L first. The coordinates of the Alphabet-M cache are

where X = L + J - K, Y = L + J, and Z = K – J.
The values of J, K, and L can be found in their respective caches.
Cache container is ~3 inches in diameter and 8 inches high.
Congratulations to Ferretpack for FTF. There are presently (as of March 8, 2009) 13 Alphabet caches placed and Ferretpack has been FTF on all 13! The question is will the streak be maintained?
