Geocache Description:


This is another cache in the Faded Markers Series. This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and beyond. The goal of this series is not ecessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area.

A small plot of land is home to many old graves, containing members of the Plato and Spears Families.

Nearby Spears Road is testament to the local family who had an impact on the development of this area in it's early days.

Now, just a forgotten cemetary lying between some residences and some bush, it is also home to some war veterans and some
members of the UEL under Col. Butler.

The cache is a camo'd 35mm film canister, with no pen and is not located on the cemetary grounds.
